March 23rd Newsletter
by Mrs Doran - Friday, 23 March 2018, 3:13 PM

This will be my last newsletter of the spring term.  I would like to thank the staff for all of their hard work this term and the effort they have made to provide the children with a wealth of extra-curricular activities.  There have been many events, trips, competitions and visitors that have either taken place outside of school hours or required additional time to plan and organise on top of their already busy workloads.

Easter Fayre

Thank you for all of the wonderful donations given today that will help considerably to raise money next Wednesday at our Easter Fayre.  The Fayre will begin at 2:45pm and is expected to finish at approximately 4:30pm.  If the weather permits there will be stalls and activities outside, if not then we will utilize the classrooms and hall.  There will be a raffle, bottle tombola, chocolate tombola, tea, coffee & cakes, an Easter egg hunt and a range of stalls organised by the Year 5 & 6 children.

Extra-Curricular Clubs

There will be no clubs at all on Wednesday and Thursday next week. On the reverse of this letter you will find a club timetable for the Summer Term.  These clubs will not begin until the week commencing 23rd April (the second week of term).  In the first week back, you will receive a club letter with a permission slip to be returned by the end of that week so registers can be organised.  Please pay attention to which clubs are available to your child’s year group.  There are also some clubs that will change groupings after the half term break so please take note of these.

Fundraising from the Friends of LAMPS has been used to purchase new classroom furniture for Class 1 and Class 2.  The new furniture will be delivered in the Easter break so we will have a lot of tables and chairs to recycle.  If anybody would like any of these tables and chairs for playrooms, storerooms, workshops or garages then please let me know.

Diary Dates

These are useful dates for your diary that will be added to each week.  More information about each event will be provided nearer the time.
